Bmon Cafe, Kota Damansara

Comic themed cafes are quite a gem to find nowadays as there are not many of them around. First of all, congratulations to Travis on the new opening of Bmon Café, which showcases the passion of drawing Bmon character created by his brother. Burst of happiness can be felt as the detailed artworks all over the café ( a lot of them!) are very worth to be appreciated.

Cool merchandise available for sale

Cozy environment suitable for all kinds of celebrations, casual gatherings and business discussions. Noticed that the designs of chairs are non-repetitive which is an interesting plus point.

Fruit salad & Caesar salad (RM10.90) - choose from Tuna Mayo or Chicken Mayo

Love love love this salad. Wonderful combination of ingredients such as lettuce leaves, bananas, strawberries, grapes, purple cabbage, croutons with fruity dressing and they worked super well together. I can eat this everyday.

All day breakfast (RM16.90)

Combo of Chicken Sausage, Beef Bacon (can be changed to Turkey Ham), scrambled eggs, sautéed mushrooms, hashbrown, toasts and salad. No complaints as the basic requirement of good sautéed mushrooms and scrambled eggs being fulfilled- the latter being creamy, not overcooked and well seasoned. The former consists of shitake and golden needle mushrooms which are different from any other usual places which usually serves one type of funghi. Decent quality of chicken sausage and not oily hashbrowns were plus points too.

Beef / Chicken Bolognese (RM13.90)

Fresh tomato flavours in this dish but could be better with more sour tinge in the sauce to further enhance the appetite.

Chicken Mushroom Carbonara (RM13.90)

Creamy based pasta with turkey ham and mushrooms. I prefer the pasta to be less softer meaning cooked with slighter lesser time, nonetheless the carbonara sauce had just the right texture and flavours.

Fancy some croissant sandwich?

Tuna Mayo (RM13.90)

Turkey Ham (RM14.90)

One of the best croissant I’ve had for café standard. The buttery, fragrant, crispy on the outside and fluffy interior croissant is freshly baked upon order from the frozen form. Indeed a wise move rather than reheating baked ones, which can clearly be tasted upon taking the first bite. The fillings were all simple yet fulfilling. If you prefer something lighter than croissant, Wrap served with fries (RM12.90) below are another good idea.

Mushroom Wrap

Tuna Mayo Wrap

Love all of the ingredients tightly wrapped in the lightly toasted wrap, the exterior was made more crispy and fragrant along with the delectable fillings.

-Mushroom Wrap (made with 5 types of mushrooms: button, golden needle, oyster, shitake and Portobello- well seasoned and pleasant combo of flavours plus textures)

-Tuna Mayo Wrap (can hardly go wrong with this)

If you were to ask me to choose one, I would say I can’t decide :P

There are also thin pizzas based topped with your choice of ingredients below. Simple and light snack as this is good for those who prefer less cheese in their pizza.

Mushroom Vege Pizza (RM13.90)

Hawaiian Pizza (RM13.90)

Hippo in the Pond (RM14.90)- Golden breadcrumbed potato with turkey ham, hard boiled egg and fried crabsticks served with cheesy sauce. A special dish which fills your tummy up instantly. The fluffy mashed potato and crispy yet not greasy breadcrumbs was noteworthy, even better with the cheesy sauce- I believe this would be adored by both kids and adults!

Chocolate Mud with Ice Cream (RM10)- If you like really rich chocolate dessert, this is for you.

Waffle- Again one of the best waffles in my books- crispy on the outside while still fluffy on the inside. Not too cakey or too much flour inside that makes you feel like eating crispy cake, as waffles are supposed to be just light enough.

Peanut Butter (RM7.90)
Maple Syrup (RM8.90)

Ice Cream & Fruits (RM12.90)

Ice Cream & Fruits Waffle

Bmon Plants (RM13)

Flower Tea (RM12 per pot)

Mocha (RM12- Hot / RM13- Iced)- Well balanced flavours of mocha and coffee, not bad at all.

Affogato (RM12)

Caramel Latte (RM11)

Honey Milk (RM9)

Dopio

Green Tea Latte (RM12- Iced / RM11- Hot)

Easily becomes my favourite beverage as the matcha taste was prominent enough.
